The rear courtyard holds a long wooden dining table and rattan sofa beside an outbuilding, mugs and a teapot regularly laid out there, with a welcome tray of blue crockery and a gingerbread biscuit greeting guests indoors and a carpeted staircase with white spindles running up to the bedrooms.
