About this property

Paws Rest is a white bungalow on Beadon Road in Salcombe, a straightforward two-bedroom base with a lawned garden and a dog print on the bedroom wall giving away who else is welcome.

The bungalow sits back from the driveway behind garden shrubs, a name plaque set into the stone wall by the door.

An open-plan living space

The living and dining area opens onto a table set for four, with a grey corner sofa and reclining chairs giving two different ways to sit, and wide windows framing the countryside and rooftops beyond. The kitchen is fitted in white and cream, with a round table by the window for breakfast.

Two bedrooms for four

The double bedroom opens onto its own patio through green-painted doors, and a twin room sleeps two more. A single bathroom serves both, fitted with a shower, sink and toilet.

A lawn for dogs and children

The garden runs to a wooden summerhouse and a paved patio with a bistro table beside the greenhouse, with steps down to a lawn scattered with bean bags among the hydrangeas.

Views over the rooftops

Several rooms look out over the village rooftops and surrounding hillside, and a sandy beach beneath a wooded headland sits within reach. Salcombe itself is close by.

A dog-friendly base for a small family

This suits a family or couple travelling with a dog who want a straightforward bungalow rather than a period cottage, the garden doing double duty for children and pets alike, whatever the weather.
