The Printworks

The Printworks is a stone building with a slate roof in Salcombe, four bedrooms sleeping eight beneath exposed timber trusses throughout.

Glazed doors open from the building onto a paved courtyard, slate roofs and the dining terrace visible from the higher ground behind.

A vaulted kitchen and living space

The kitchen island sits beneath the exposed trusses with stools facing a range cooker, and a long dining table seats ten beside a glazed wall and exposed stone. The living room keeps a lit log burner on a timber hearth, a deep teal corner sofa turned toward it.

Bedrooms with a projector on the ceiling

Four bedrooms sleep up to eight, several set beneath the exposed trusses with a ceiling-mounted projector for evening films, one with breakfast served in bed beside its own bath through the door. Bathrooms run to terrazzo showers and a freestanding roll-top bath by a sash window.

A courtyard terrace for dining out

The paved courtyard holds a gas barbecue and dining table against a stone wall, with rattan sofas in lime cushions set out on a second terrace beside the lawn.

Close to the waterfront

The Printworks sits on Robinsons Row within easy reach of the waterfront and moorings, in the heart of Salcombe.
