The living room sits beneath a vaulted, exposed-beam ceiling, cream sofas gathered around a wood-burning stove lit in a stone chimney breast, log baskets stacked to one side and a further sitting corner with a wicker basket close by. The kitchen has a range cooker and stone wall, its dining table set for breakfast beneath the same exposed beams, croissants and fresh fruit laid out with jam and strawberries alongside.
